Our History
The North Oshawa Farmers’ Market began with a simple idea: bring the community together around local food. What started as a small gathering of farmers, bakers, and makers has grown into a vibrant weekend tradition for families across Durham Region. Founded by passionate local organizers who believed in supporting small businesses and local agriculture, the market was created to give farmers and artisans a place to share what they grow and create with the community.
From fresh seasonal produce and homemade baked goods to handcrafted items and specialty foods, every vendor represents the spirit of local entrepreneurship.Located at the Delpark Homes Centre in north Oshawa, the market continues to grow each season while staying true to its roots: celebrating local farmers, supporting small businesses, and creating a welcoming space where community comes first.
